Venaflow System 30A The Aircast VenaFlow System functions as a prophylaxis for deep vein thrombosis by using an effective combination of graduated sequential compression and rapid impulse inflation. This unique collaboration of technology increases venous velocity while enhancing fibrinolysis, thus assisting in the prevention of thrombus formation. Each VenaFlow System includes a pump with tube assembly (cuffs are sold separately). The pump is designed to operate with any of the three VenaFlow Cuff styles: calf, foot, or thigh - no adjustments required. This universal pump design helps promote compliance, speeds application, and reduces inventory needs. The VenaFlow pump's pressure and inflate/deflate cycle are preset and automatic, with pressures shown on the digital display. Pressure alarms with corrective instructions are also illuminated if the pressure is out of range. The pressure of the VenaFlow System can be checked with the Pressure Verification Kit. A patient counter is included on the display for ease-of-use.
